Here at Weaver & Wilde, we’re passionate about what we do. We’re an award-winning independent Coffee House and Steak Restaurant in the centre of Uppermill; the heart of Saddleworth. Our quest is to source quality fresh produce from passionate local suppliers, artisans and growers to showcase the flavours of the changing seasons that are available right on our doorstep.
From hand-crafted coffee, decadent sweet delights to wholesome homemade seasonal dishes and a comforting home-from-home environment where you can relax and take a break from the world outside. Our evenings take on a new life with our dry-aged steaks from Lake District-reared small herd heifers in our steak restaurant.
OPENING HOURS:
SUNDAY to WEDNESDAY 8am to 5pm
THURSDAY to SATURDAY 8am until LATE
Our Brunch menu is available 7 days a week until 4pm. On Thursdays, Fridays & Saturdays we serve our Evening Menu until late.
Our Evening service is designed for our guests to relax, unwind and spend quality time. Our last tables are available at 9pm and we're here for you for as long as you need us and have enjoyed your time with us (just not after 11pm).
Our Coffee.
Our award-winning coffee from Darkwoods Coffee in Marsden, is ethically sourced in direct partnership with the farmer who grow and care for the beans. It's roasted just a few miles down the road. Our milk, from Mclinktock's Dairy, is from a dairy herd grazing on lush green Saddleworth grass in Denshaw.
Our teas are crafted to perfection by the wonderful Tea Keepers based in Stalybridge.
Our Food.
Our menus are based around British seasonal produce which means that as the seasons change, so do our menus. We partner with a small and local suppliers and take pride in creating each and every one of our dishes, from Brunch, Lunch and and our evening British-inspired small plates and grazing menu. We believe that good food should be accompanied by good company to share it with.
When we had friends around when we were kids, Mum would always tell them "if there's too much on your plate, don't eat it if you can't manage it."
That philosophy has always stuck with us. Food is comfort and we are feeders, which is why we had to offer some smaller portions too!
